Lawrence Zimbler, MST, EA
For over 40 years, Larry Zimbler has dedicated his career to the tax profession, including IRS technical and managerial; professional tax software development and support; and private practice in accounting, tax, IRS representation, and financial services. Holding a B.S. in Math and M.S. in Taxation degrees, Larry has successfully completed the Uniform CPA Exam. He has taught undergraduate tax classes at University of Michigan – Flint and Detroit College of Business. Larry has successfully represented clients before the IRS collections, examination and appeals divisions.
Larry is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and is a Member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, The National Association of Tax Professionals. He teaches tax professionals and various related organizations across the United States and recently joined the editorial advisory panel for the Non-Profit Business Advisor.
Clients of Larry include tax-exempt organizations, individuals, small business, trusts, estates and non-profit organizations.
Larry is an active volunteer leader with the Boy Scouts of America, Water and Woods Council. He services on the Troop Committee (formerly Scoutmaster) of Troop 219 in Fenton, Michigan, where his son attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Larry is a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, the OA Founder’s Award and the James E. West Fellow.
